2024 Sixth Form Results

Celebrating the Success of Our 2024 A Level Cohort 

We are delighted to announce the exceptional achievements of our SMSJ 2024 A Level students, who have delivered outstanding results and secured places at prestigious Universities.  

Key Highlights

Results this year demonstrate continued positive progress in the SMSJ Sixth Form:  

  • A*/A Grades: 13% of students achieved A* and A grades, up from 10% in 2023
  • A-C Grades: 64% secured grades A* to C, an increase from 61% in 2023
  • A-E Grades: 95% passed with grades A* to E, up from 90% in 2023

We are incredibly proud of all our students, with some standout performances that deserve special recognition: 

  • Sarah A achieved A* A A in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, securing a place to study Mathematics at Bristol University
  • Jasmin C earned A* A* A* in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, plus a Distinction in her Advanced Extension Award, and will study Actuarial Science at LSE
  • Hilda M obtained A* A* A B in Persian, Psychology, Maths, and Design Technology, and will study Architecture at UCL 
  • Zak M achieved A* A* A* in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and will pursue a degree in Medicine

We also celebrate the success of all our students who have secured their first-choice places at universities such as Bath, Southampton, Birmingham, Loughborough, Royal Holloway, City, SOAS, Reading, and Surrey, to study courses ranging from Mechanical Engineering to Economics. Additionally, some students have applied for Accountancy and Business Apprenticeships with local and national companies. These successes highlight the breadth of talent and ambition within our school, and we are confident that these students will achieve great things in the future, confident that ‘With God, all things are possible’.
