Pastoral Care
Here at SMSJ we are committed in promoting our students personal and social development and fostering positive attitudes through:
- the quality of teaching and learning;
- the nature of relationships amongst pupils, teachers and adults other than teachers;
- arrangements for monitoring pupils’ overall progress, academic, personal and social;
- extra-curricular activities and the school ethos.
Pastoral care helps us as a school, articulate our Christian values, involve all teachers and help pupils to achieve success. Our pastoral care offers support for the learning behaviour and welfare of all pupils, and addresses the particular difficulties some individuals may experience. We seek to help ensure that all students, and particularly girls and members of ethnic minorities, are enabled to benefit from the full range of educational opportunities that we offer.
At all three campuses, you will notice the distinct ethos, that is the SMSJ Way
