Sociology
Vision
Sociology is an exciting subject that challenges your everyday experiences. It is the study of the relationship between the individuals and society. In other words, sociology allows you to understand how individuals fit into a wider social network and encourages you to question beliefs about society which you may have previously taken for granted.
You will have the opportunity to develop a better understanding of the social world, by examining how institutions such as families, schools, friends, and the media, and external forces such as social class, age, gender and race, location might influence and shape our behaviour and opportunities in life.
